After a long break, I'm back on Youtube! Check out my new video on how to make a heart shaped journal. It's a great idea for Valentine's Day - or just for fun! You could also make a heart shaped greeting card in the same way. Just add less pages and write your greetings inside. You can create pockets and belly bands in your journal and maybe put a gift card or a special message inside, if you'll give it to someone special.
All you need is some paper, ribbon or yarn and glue. In true junk journal style I used mainly old book pages, my own printable freebie old handwriting and some decorative paper from an old paper pad. The only new thing I used was a printable kit "True Love Ephemere" from Etsy from https://catwomanjournals.etsy.com . The beautiful cover and fussy cut hearts are from the Valentine's kit, but of course you can use whatever paper you have in your stash.
The whole process of creating a heart shaped journal is explained in my video tutorial on Youtube: How to Make a Heart Shaped Journal
Have a nice time crafting and Happy Valentine's Day!
